We want to encourage everyone to come out in their best or worst cosplay. Whether you want to place in our top three or just want to strut your cosplay stuff bring it to Planet Funk Con.
Our favorite cosplay photographer, The Portrait Dude, will be setup in our main entrance. He will shoot your cosplay like you've never seen it, and at no cost!

Did we mention that the finalists get to have their match live broadcast on the TaxSlayers JumboTron for the whole convention to see, cause yeah… we get down like that.

Planet Funk Con is an event that is meant to be fun for everyone. In order to make sure that everyone can have a good time at the show please observe and follow our convention rules. We appreciate you as our guests and thank you for helping us make this an event everyone can enjoy!

You must have your Badge at all times or at least have your wrist band visible before entering the show and doing any activities.

Be nice, be kind and respect each other. Planet funk Con has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY for harassment of any kind. Remember: cosplay is not consent.

Staff and Security have the right to ask you to leave and refuse to refund the cost of your ticket if you are behaving in an inappropriate manner.

Please wear appropriate (or at least enough) clothing while attending Planet Funk Con. Nude isn’t a costume

Please keep track of anything purchased or acquired at the show. Planet Funk Con is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged property, or for injuries sustained during the course of the show.

Due to the rules of the venue any real weapons are not allowed at the show. Security will be present there and any real weapon may result in expulsion from the show. Foam, wood, and other non-metallic weapons ARE acceptable.

When you’re at Planet Funk Con you may be a star… By purchasing a Badge and in consideration for being admitted to Planet Funk Con, the holder consents to being recorded (by audio, visual, and/or other means) for exhibition and exploitation by any means in all media now known or hereafter devised worldwide in perpetuity. In other words… By attending Planet Funk Con, you give your consent to be photographed and appear on camera.
