Marcus Alexander Bagwell is an American professional wrestler better known by his ring name, Buff Bagwell. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1991 to 2001, where he was a five-time World Tag Team Champion and member of the NWO. Mick Foley
Mick Foley is well known as a WWE Champion and New York Times best selling author. One of thecornerstones of WWE’s meteoric rise in the late 90’s, Mick Foley earned the nickname ‘TheHardcore Legend’ for his ability to absorb seemingly inhuman punishment in some of the mostdramatic matches in sports-entertainment history. Already a respected veteran for his 11 physicallypunishing years wrestling under the name Cactus Jack, Foley’s career soared to new heights inWWE as ‘Mankind’, a character Foley claimed was inspired by a combination of reading ‘MaryShelly’s Frankenstein’ and listening to the music of Tori Amos.As Cactus Jack, Foley won the 1995 ‘King of the Deathmatch’ tournament in Yokohama, Japan, andcontinued wrestling, despite the amputation of his right ear, in a match against Vader in Munich,Germany in 1994. As Mankind, Foley was a 3-time WWE Champion, but is best known for his epic and brutal battle with The Undertaker in 1998’s ‘Hell in a Cell’ match, during which he was knockedunconscious after falls both off of and through the 16 foot Cell structure. Despite the injury, Foleyfinished the match – with one of his front teeth lodged in his nose. Jason Marsden
You’ve seen him. You’ve heard him. With an imdb list a mile long, thanks to appearances across platforms such as television, feature film, animation, video games, commercials, talking toys, promotion, narration, and internet; as a result, Mars is affectionately referred to as “That Guy From That Show”. At age eleven, Jason Marsden relocated from Warwick, RI, to Hollywood to pursue his dream of being an actor. Starting with commercials, on camera and radio, Marsden landed his first recurring role on “General Hospital” as Alan Quartermaine Jr.. Soon after, Mars was cast as Eddie Munster on the 80‘s revamp, “The Munsters Today” with John Schuck and Lee Meriwether, in an 86 episode, three season run (which can be currently seen on Hulu)! Marsden’s career continued to blossom when he joined the cast of the critically respected “Eerie Indiana” (now on Amazon). From there, Marsden continued to work on pilots and series, guest staring and recurring roles, and appearances in feature films through the mid 90s! Amongst the most popular, he is the voice of Goofy’s son, Max, in “A Goofy Movie” as well as the follow up “Extremely Goofy Movie”. Every Halloween, millennials ritually view Disney’s “Hocus Pocus” to hear Mars as the cursed feline “Thackery Binx”. In “Lion King 2”, Mars voiced the rogue lion “Kovu”. Gregg Berger is an American Voice / Actor, who is internationally known for his iconic roles as GRIMLOCK in G1 Transformers and Transformers Fall of Cybertron, Transformers: Devastation, Power of the Primes and more. For the past 16 years, Brad Jones has been the creator and star of the popular YouTube and Channel Awesome series The Cinema Snob, a satirical look at exploitation cinema throughout the decades. As well as portraying The Cinema Snob on a weekly basis, Brad also keeps very busy, as a film critic, and the host of Midnight Screenings, the food review show Brad Tries, and is also the writer of the feature films Another Cinema Snob Movie and the religious parody film Jesus Bro.

Susanna is known for playing several species/creatures in multiple Star Wars series on Disney+ such as a Jawa, Thodobin and Gas Mask on “The Mandalorian” and “The Book of Boba Fett”.Susanna is also known for her work on Madtv, Raven Van Slender saves Christmas and Mind Melters 3!

Charlie Schlatter
Charlie's big screen debut was as Michael J. Fox’s younger brother in BRIGHT LIGHTS, BIG CITY. RK Post
A farmboy from Illinois with a gift for sketching, RK Post was planning on a career as a veterinarian until illustration finally took over in his extensive college experience. By his graduation from Northern Illinois University in 1994, RK Post was freelancing for the fantasy gaming industry doing interior illustration for several major game companies, gradually teaching himself how to paint with acrylics and eventually oils. RK garnered a staff illustration position at TSR and after its acquisition, continued in this capacity with new parent company Wizards of the Coast painting cover illustrations for games and novels. Passionate about expanding his skill set, RK moved into 2D and 3D art for videogames in addition to his freelance illustrations for Magic the Gathering and other franchises. He currently works as a self publishing entity, so please follow him on your preference of his social media platforms to see what’s up and coming! Angus Oblong
Angus is an American writer and illustrator best known for his work Creepy Susie and 13 Other Tragic Tales for Troubled Children (1999) and the 2001 animated television series The Oblongs. The character Milo—which appeared in his Creepy Susie book—was based on a young version of himself; the Milo that appeared on the television show The Oblongs was a less exaggerated version of the character from the book.

Nikki M Artistry
Nikki Murray is an artist, future Esthetician, comedienne, and burlesque performer who has been dabbling in makeup artistry since 2017. She began her journey while working as an actress at Terror at Skellington Manor, and after studying SFX and horror makeup, eventually became the Lead MUA of the Haunted attraction in 2019. Nikki began bodypainting on Twitch in August 2022, and fell in love with combining her entertainer side with her art. Charles Simpson is a concept artist as well as a comic artist. He’s done work for upper deck trading cards, hound comics, and now constant hustle comics. Erik Hodson
Erik is a longtime indie comics creator and media personality. From his webtoon Dreaded Dinosaur man, to his current roster of Print comic projects like Roddy Piper Kilted Avenger, British Bulldog UK Defender and American Bliss. From anime to Wrestling Erik’s art has found its way into some high spots. He’s worked with Mick Foley, Starrcast and other to produce one of a kind images as well as provided art for Voice Actors dubbing your favorite anime!

Kevin VanHook
Kevin is a Film-Maker and Comic Book Creator born in Indianapolis, Indiana. As a Comic Book Writer and Artist, he is best known for co-creating BLOODSHOT for Valiant Comics with Don Perlin and Bob Layton. The premiere issue sold nearly one million copies and continued to be a top selling title. Bloodshot was released as a major motion picture from Sony in March, 2020 starring Vin Diesel. Kevin also wrote and drew THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW movie adaptation for Caliber Press as well as over a hundred other comic books for Valiant Comics from X-O Manowar to SOLAR, MAN OF THE ATOM. He wrote the FLASH GORDON Sunday Comic Strip for King Features for two years and joined DC Comics to create SUPERMAN and BATMAN vs VAMPIRES and WEREWOLVES as well as ORACLE: THE CURE, RED TORNADO: Family Reunion and LOBO for Weird Worlds. He recently co-wrote Ancient Enemies: DJINNI for Frank Miller Presents and is heading up the editorial/creative for a new comic book publisher called VISI8 Entertainment from Jakarta, Indonesia. His series CHANGELINGS is on the shelves now. As a Writer/Director, he has made seven feature films; including the popular Slayer and Death Row horror movies. As a Film Roman and Starz Executive Vice President, he had a hand in producing and oversaw various television series and contributed Visual Effects to such films as I, Robot and Daredevil. On the animation side, Kevin was actively involved in all internal projects, including The Happy Elf and Tripping the Rift. Independently, he has created VFX for many films including Olympus Has Fallen, and I Am Number Four and TV Series ranging from Vampire Diaries to Law & Order and Rizzoli & Isles. He created many of the visual effects in Liam Neeson's Honest Thief and Supervised Visual Effects for the Netflix Original, POWER starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Jamie Foxx. Kevin is currently in talks to create a new comics project based on one of his past creations and is writing two original Television Pilots.

Remy Dee
Professional weirdo Remy Dee decided at a young age that she couldn’t limit wearing costumes to just Halloween and Mardi Gras. Born and raised in New Orleans, Remy discovered her love of pretending to be fictional characters through theater. She was a founding member of her high school’s Sci-Fi & Fantasy Club, which hosted the movie nights that catapulted her cosplay journey. She attended her first convention in 2010, and won her first cosplay contest in 2016 with her now infamous Pee-Wee Herman cosplay.

La Vie Cosplay
They are the hosts of “Sh*t Cosplayers Say” a comedy podcast about the chaos of fandom and con-going life. Knightmage
Michael was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio and now resides in Youngstown, Ohio. A current decorated 22 year Deputy Sheriff for the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office in Ohio, Michael has been cosplaying since 2012. Having created over 300 costumes, Michael is an award winning cosplayer with many of his creations being praised and displayed on numerous platforms in print and online. Michael is noted as one of the most influential and diverse male cosplayers in the world. Along with judging cosplay contests Michael often hosts cosplay panels and workshops at conventions showcasing the creative, positive, inspiring and supportive side of cosplay. Having a love for acting and stunt work, Michael has worked on several Hollywood comic book movie productions. Michael was also an alternate for the 2006 reality show “Who Wants To Be A Superhero” hosted by Stan Lee. Michael has worked on and has been featured in several fan films and productions such as the popular YouTube series “MAN AT ARMS: Reforged”. Michael is also a spokesperson for FX latex product, Zombie-Skin. Michael has also created various costumes for World Wrestling Entertainment superstars. In 2022 the word “Knightmage” was added to Urban Dictionary describing some of the many positive cosplay philosophies that Michael holds along with others in the cosplay community. Genuinely loving to entertain, make a positive impact and bring smiles, Michael most often uses his costuming by bringing awareness and participating in many charitable events, benefits, parades, birthdays and hospital visits to children. Gabbee19 Cosplay
Sarah, also known as Gabbee19Cosplay, has been cosplaying since 2018, and began her journey into the wide world of cosplay after some nudging from friends to pursue her creative outlet of crafting. Sarah started for the creativity, and continued for the connections made. From her digital Disney princess Vanellope Von Schweetz, to her inspired Dark Jedi robes, and her latest project of love with her Slytherin house robes from Harry Potter, she cosplays characters she has a personal connection to. While cosplaying as any of her characters she enjoys sharing her passion and love of the fandoms through the craft. She enjoys meeting everyone and sharing her life, journey, and struggles with others as a means of enlightening and helping them to know that they are not alone, and to help inspire others to follow the passion of cosplay, regardless of the hurdles before them. Sarah brings her knowledge and skills to bear in helping organize and aid in sign-up for the cosplay contest this year at Planet FunkCon, and couldn’t be happier.

Josh Torche
Josh, also known as Yoko2369Cosplay, has been cosplaying since around 2016, and every step has been a journey, one happily taken. From his very first convention, when Wizard World rolled through Des Moines, he discovered that cosplay was something that was literally for anyone, he decided that road was one to follow. He borrowed a sewing machine and learned to pattern from a friend, and the self taught the rest. Every project has been a learning experience, and he looks forward to continuing to learn as much as he can from this wonderful journey. With honorable mentions from Wizard World and QuadCon under his belt with Yang Xiao Long of RWBY, winning Best in Category at the last Planet FunkCon in 2019 with his Ike Greil, from Fire Emblem, he looks forward to furthering his craft. From start to finish, each project he undertakes is a labor of love and every cosplay is one of a character her has a connection with, on one level or another. Cosplay is a hobby of passion, and he continues his journey to share that love and passion with others. Learning what he can from others, and teaching what he can to more, he enjoys talking and sharing with others, and helping everyone learn to love the art of cosplay to the fullest. He utilizes his management history in retail to help organize for local shows and emcee for the show and contests, and is looking forward to helping emcee the cosplay contest at this years Planet FunkCon.

Brittani Ginoza
Brittani is an award winning costume and propmaker from Columbus, Ohio. She is best known for her unique outstanding painting style and detailed costume construction. As a competitive cosplayer, Brittani has most recently won the Twitchcon 2022 costume contest and has also represented the United States multiple times in International competitions. She is inspired by video games such as World of Warcraft and Borderlands and has even worked with Blizzard Entertainment and Gearbox Software on projects over the years. When she's not working on her next armor build Brittani enjoys talking shop and helping others learn about cosplay.

The 501st Legion Central Garrison-Korriban Squad
The 501st Legion is an all-volunteer member organization of over 17,000 members worldwide, which seeks to promote interest in Star Wars through the building and wearing of quality villain costumes, and to facilitate the use of these costumes for Star Wars-related events as well as contributions to the local community through costumed charity and crew member work. The local 501st is represented by the Central Garrison, which proudly serves Iowa (Korriban Squad), Minnesota (Wolf Pack Squad), Nebraska (Imperial 80th Squad), North Dakota (Wampa Hunter Squad) and South Dakota (621st Detention Squad)

Deafpool and Black kat the Vampirate
Planet Funk Con is excited to welcome entertainment by Adam “#Deafpool” Garland, Deaf Cosplayer/Artist/Writerand and Beth “Black Kat the Vampirate” Garland, Cosplayer and Hostess of “Black Kat’s Nautical Nightmares TV” (upcoming). Adam and Black Kat moved from Alaska to Iowa 5 Years ago. They have since set up a studio, tv show and began building cosplays, props, books and more!

Eurico Senna
Eurico is from Long Beach, CA and has been practicing different martial arts and movements his whole life. His passion for the martial arts and theater has led him to professional opportunities as a coach and as a stunt performer, namely for Marvel Universe LIVE where he portrayed Chitauri, Spiderman, and Wolverine. Today, he is starting out his own martial arts academy called Spider Martial Arts. Eurico started his journey training Capoeira at a very young age, learning from family members. This led him into Tricking and Parkour as a teenager where he became very skilled and once attending CSULB (California State University Long Beach), he started the first collegiate “Martial Arts Tricking” club with a curriculum for others interested in doing flips and kicks. Eurico’s love for education started around the same time his movement journey, too. He was in advanced placement classes in middle school and high school; won a Japanese language high school scholarship to visit Japan with JET’s (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Memorial Invitational Program in 2011; and landed his first paid job tutoring math as a high school senior to freshmen and sophomores. A before and after graduating CSULB, Eurico has been instructing all kinds of movements from Parkour & Tricking, to Capoeira & Reading. Today, Coach Eurico strives to represent Black & Brown diversity in Martial Arts & Film to build community and tell untold stories overlooked in today’s landscape. Coach Eurico also enjoys rollerskating, walking nature trails, and spending time with family. His favorite moves are the Helicoptero and the Btwist.
